Gerry
has been doing stand-up for several years in and around the New Orleans
area. His brand of comedy focuses on the short comings of the middle
aged man. As a fiftyish baby boomer, he's got interesting perspectives
on... life in New Orleans, growing up Catholic in the 50's and 60's,weight
and diets, a disappearing hair line, and sex and romance at 50 (alone and
with others).
An early interest in the art
of magic gave way to stand up comedy when he realized that at his weight
and size he didn't look good in a tuxedo, couldn't jam himself into those
boxes, and doves suffocated when hidden on his body.
